RCA to Organize Inter School Tournament
Riyadh Cricket Association has formalized to organize the Inter School Cricket Tournament in cooperation with Saudi Cricket Center. This tournament will be sponsored by SCC. Under the guidelines of the SCC this tournament will be held in 3 age categories (Under 19, Under 16 and Under 14) with the perspective to participate in Saudi Arabia’s Under 19 national team. As a result of the National Under 19’s previous performance, Saudi Arabia has qualified for the Under 19 world cup warm up matches.
These warm up matches will be played in UAE. This team will also travel to Pakistan and Sri Lanka for one week at each place. In this regard a meeting was held between RCA president and Chairman of Executive Committee of SCC Mr. Tariq Javed and RCA Chief Executive Mr. Mohammad Nadeem Babar.
To conduct this tournament in a professional and organized manner an Interschool Tournament Organizing Committee is formed. Mr. Ahsan Raza will be head of this committee whereas other members of the committee are Mr. Ejaz Sulaiman, Mr. Qaisar Mahmood, Mr. Malik Akbar, Mr. Rashid Mahmood, Mr. Upol Zarief and Mr. Nasir Abbasi.
